Activity 1 – Summarise/ paraphrase 

Refer to your notes from Cameron et al. (2022). Find the answers to the following questions.  

  1. The writers start paragraph B with a question ‘Are e-sports a sport’? What is their answer to the question? 
  2. The writers give several benefits of e-sports. How many benefits are given?  
  3. The writers use data and examples to show how e-sports is growing in Australia. Study the data and supporting examples. 

My answer:

  1. According to Cameron et al. (2022), e-ports are a kind of sports and the reason is that they also active by brains and stronger muscle.
  2. According to Cameroon et al. (2022), two benefits, hand-eye coordination and team strategy.
  3. According to Cameroon et al. (2022), the 14th largest e-sports market is one of the most common markets where consumers spend over $1.3 billion, and this figure is expected to grow to $4.9 billion.

My answer:
